The ‘Oaks was given the highbrow treatment today on Channel 4′s The TV Show, where there was muchos discussion about whether it crowbars in ‘issues’ for the sake of it (of course not!) and whether Hollyoaks Later actually had a purpose (ermmm).
More importantly, the guest star was – from beyond the grave – Vile Niall himself. Looking MIGHTY FINE. Hot diggety…do we miss him already.
Also, there was some glorious flashbacks to the ‘Oaks of yesteryear:
The first ever Hollyoaks episode, circa 1995: Kurt Benson, floppy disks, the old theme tune…ahhh, a simpler time.
The Hannah anorexia storyline: Hannah’s anorexia symbolised by the permanent spots on her forehead, Rhys looking suspiciously pale (was it sister shagging guilt?) and the death of Melissa the anorexic psycho skank. Is it just us, or did Hannah never look skinny enough to be an anorexic? Too many pies we say.
