We missed yesterday’s episode but from the sounds of it the highlight was Josh punching Rhys (always a joy).

So onto today’s fun and games – maybe we were a bit lightheaded after running, but today’s episode was even more random than usual?

There were bizarro changes of character: previously loved up Gilly and Jem were suddenly aggressive chav and over emotional harpie and, thus, the engagement is, for now, off.

There was also a quite unexpected urination gag, as a sleep walking Des wee’d all over Nancy’s bed. And what is going on with them anyway? Defo sexual tension? Maybe that’s why Des leaves, he cheats on Jacqui and she slays him? Either way, Des is right – Nancy definitely needs to get some.

What’s more, we were treated the most unimaginative Valentine family argument for a long time (and there have been a few) as Calvin took on Lauren. It went something along the lines of: “I hate you!” “You’re just a kid, so do what I say!” “Drop dead!” *much slamming of doors*.  Ah, so worth those few moments of our lives.

Speaking of Lauren, the village’s very own Myra Hindley and Ian Brady continued their unique reign of terror, indulging in a spot of credit card fraud and engaging in genuinely icky chav/emo shaggage. My…eyes…
