burn baby burn

The trailers for it were, dare we say it, the highlight of Hollyoaks Later 2010, and the soap mags are a-froth with news about it – yes, Inferno Week is on the way! Kicking off on Friday 5th November, we are told it will change Hollyoaks forever. Which brings us to this curious poster we clocked in Camden tube station:

let it burn

Eyecatching stuff, with Amy, Steph and Mercy all looking  super hot (seewhatwedidthere) and Mal and Taylor looking somewhat camp.

We can assume they are all inferno fodder then, as are (we’ve been told): Dom, Elliot and Ravi, aswell as jailbait shaggers Amber and Finn.

Tony, Gilly, Cheryl, Brendan and Ste all feature in the trailer but we’re pretty sure they’ll be okay (though we are basing this mostly on the fact that Stendan are currently the best thing in Hollyoaks and so no harm should EVER befall them, we love Cheryl and Tony is as good as fireproof. Not bovvered about Gilly).

Given that Jem, India, Texas and Kevin the alien/perv are absent from the new opening sequence, they too could be toast.

Beyond who dies, the big question is: who starts the fire? There have been fingers been pointed at our beloved Brendan and back from the dead nutter Warren, but our money’s on scary faced absentee father, questionable v-neck wearer and CEO of the Sharp family franchise, Phil. With flames that shoot out of his eyes.

However it happens though, we can’t wait and in the words of Peggy Mitchell – LET IT BURN.

    shocking stuff Niki. poor Barnsey, minus both daughters! we want a second opinion though, we don’t trust steph’s ability to pronounce death – she did spend a whole night talking to a ghost afterall
