Mandy

Hollyoaks´ very own harbinger of doom, poor old Mandy has the highest score when it comes to family trauma. Here goes (and do let us know if we have missed something!):

first boyf Ollie Benson dies in a freak car accident (and the first annual cull)

rapeage by abusive alcoholic dad, who later dies

targetted by psycho single white female stalker friend Laura, who later dies

brother Lewis turns into a girlf beater, takes overdose and later dies

rapeage of boyf Luke by random football chav

causing of paralysed state of Luke´s brother Adam due to poor driving skills (Mandy also dated Adam, in an incestfest kinda way)

boyf Tony caught shagging Mandy´s mum – who later dies in a freak car accident together with hubby Mr C

marriage to Tony descends into violence (Mandy being the one dishing out the beats) but saved by the birth of baby Grace who sadly – you´ve guessed it – later dies

sired a child with offscreen random who then abandons her for someone else

returns to Chester and is reunited with stepbro Max. Who later dies.

So, as Mandy appears to be back for good we can only speculate about the traumas that will soon befall her and those around her. We suspect her hot buffet table sexfest with Warren will Not End Well. Other than that – a plague perhaps? The moon crashes into Chester? God help us all!

As predicted, her affair with Warren lead to all kinds of drama and resulted in not only her own mysterious disappearence but also that of Louise and Tony (?). We divvnt nah what happened. Maybe Warren ate them all.

Once again the harbinger returns, more likely than not to assume guardianship of cursed devil child Tom when Steph dies. More than a little vague about where she has been all year, she did mention that she had been in a relationship with someone but wouldn’t say who. We suspect it is not a coincidence then that a certain whispering gangster type is rising from the grave…

Status @ February 2012

After showing up so unexpectedly, Mandy seemed to go off the radar again. Reappearing to manage Cindy’s new gym Cinergy and embezzle thousands of pounds, she was briefly reunited with Tony before she sodded off once more – for good this time, apparently. We never discovered where she went, but let’s hope it was to be with her rarely mentioned but never cared for (let alone seen) daughter Ella.
